I heard the closest neighbor galaxy is about 2 million miles away, and if we do go there, would it be the same as our milky galaxy? What will we find there?

First of all, you've got your distances wildly wrong. The nearest major galaxy, Andromeda, is 2.5 million LIGHT YEARS away, and one light year equals 6 trillion miles!
Because the Andromeda Galaxy is relatively close to us, it is quite large in our sky (6 times the apparent diameter of the Moon) so has been studied in great detail by astronomers. Andromeda is somewhat bigger than out Milky Way Galaxy, and contains about twice as many stars, but otherwise is very similar in its structure and contents.

You heard? The closest neighboring galaxy is Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy and is roughly 25,000 light years from the Solar System.
If we go there? It is not currently possible, and will probably never be possible, to "go there".
Our milky galaxy? The Milky Way Galaxy you mean?
Define "the same as our ... galaxy"?
Uh, no it would be different. Since it isn't possible to visit, the rest of your questions are meaningless

You heard wrong. Go back to school.
The sun is 93 million miles away. The moon is 1/4 million miles away.
No one knows for sure what is in another galaxy. Our galaxy is so vast we couldn't get out of it in a lifetime with our present technology. We finally sent something out of the solar system (past Pluto).

Ur wrong. Nearest galaxy isn't 2 million miles away. Its 2 million light years away from us.
Our Sun current technology cannot travel there. If andromeda galaxy is 2 million light years away, we'd take 2 million years to reach it, if we travel at speed of light. Which isn't possible.
But suppose we managed to achieve the target, we'd find nothing but stars & planets, nebulae, etc. Probably we'd find earth like planets orbiting in goldilocks zone & possibly, life!
