Has there yet been any "conclusive proof" that life (of any type) exists in any place other than planet Earth?

Of course there's life outside of earth.. Haven't you heard women are from Venus and Men are from Mars. Venus fly traps are obviosly from Venus why else would they be called Venus fly traps.I've heard the moon is made of green cheese and look at all the holes on it. Something must be eating that green cheese. Neptune is obviosly an ocean world so theres bound to be lots of sea animals there. So of course there's life on other planets. Though us blondies may very well be the hottest beings in the universe.. No matter how many beings there might be in the universe it'd be hard for any of them to top our beauty.

Nope.

No "conclusive proof". Not even any vague evidence. If fact there's no evidence at all.

I guess if you believe there is life elsewhere in space you would also be inclined to believe in horoscopes, esp, and the tooth fairy, since they all share the same amount of evidence (ie zero).

"Life in space" is just the modern version of fairies, but it is couched in techno-speak.

People always seem to want to believe in these sort of things. Most of them are lonely and can't find friends on Earth, so they hope for "friends" in the guise of space boogiemen. Where there is a market there is always a supplier. The market for "space boogiemen" is satisfied by Hollywood movies, internet sites, support groups, and endless artwork and other pretence.

Cheers!

the closest to "conclusive proof" that we've gotten is that there are other planets around the stars in many galaxy's. we can gather this by studying gravity, if there are planets orbiting another star then the constant pull on gravity makes the star wobble.

How can you prove life exists elsewhere when you can't see past your own nose? We are technologically blind to see past our own solar system. Actually if there was life on any of Jupiter's moons we would have no proof. Give it another 50-100 years.

No conclusive proof. We may have found some compounds that could have been created by life, but likely not.

None. not a single evidence of existence previous Earth. The "micro organism from mars" is quite a mineral which could (possibly possibly) have resulted from organic and organic reactions related to micro organism (i.e., micro organism poo). in spite of the undeniable fact that, the comparable mineral can be produced via non-organic and organic reactions under specific circumstances -- and all of us understand those circumstances might have existed on Mars. comparable element for the colors on Europa and the methane on Mars (in the international, maximum of our methane come from the decomposition of existence-types -- in spite of the undeniable fact that, that doesn't propose this is the only thank you to kind methane).
