d.- nuclear fusions starts. A star is born when atoms of light elements are squeezed under enough pressure to undergo nuclear fusion. All stars are the result of a balance of forces: the force of gravity compresses atoms in interstellar gas until the fusion reactions begin. And your welcome =¬].

You are correct, the gravity of the stars doesn't affect us. We are affected by the gravity of the Earth, the moon, and the sun. The only effect of the stars is the light we can see (and that isn't enough to affect anything). The stars in a constellation are not actually related to each other, they can be hundreds of light years apart - they just happen to lie along our line of sight so they look like they are connected in these arbitrary patterns. The stars are not arranged differently when you're born - the change in the positions of the stars is too small to be detected over the course of a single human's lifetime.
