I have a project to create a model of a NASA spinoff. I created one model but the teacher gave me a "D" because she said it did not take me a lot of time to create it. I have the opportunity to create a new model. Please tell me a NASA spinoff that I can create a model of. I can't use these spinoffs: Satellite dish, ear thermometer, cordless vacuum cleaner, fire alarm, fire fighters gear. So please tell me spinoffs other than those.

Because of NASA’s experience in studying the forces of friction and drag, Speedo asked the Agency to help design a swimsuit for racing. The resulting suit reduces skin friction drag 24 percent more than the previous Speedo racing suit. The research seems to have paid off; 94 percent of gold medals in swimming at the 2008 Olympics were won in the new Speedo suit.

See the NASA spinoff page for more ideas. That is the source, or just google "NASA spinfoo"
