Did humans really go to the Moon or is it fake?

I have heard different things, like the flag moving when there is no wind and some people say its solar waves or I dont know...
I heard the Nasa video is fake, some other people say it isnt...
Why hasnt anyone gone back to the moon after that? Why no new footage of a man at the moon?

I really can't believe this question keeps coming up.

Go and ask Buzz Aldrin, the last guy that tried got a bloody nose.

To answer your questions:

1. We haven't gone back because it is too expensive and manned spaceflight is risky - robots can do a lot of what a human can, they are cheaper, and no lives are risked.

2, There is no new footage of man on the moon because, as you stated in your first question - WE HAVEN'T BEEN BACK - so there cannot be any "new footage" !!!

Of course we did. If you were a kid then with any sort of mindpower you were educated toward it.As has been pointed out If it had been Hollywood pageantry, the cover on that would have blown with Nixon.

I was there, man. I remember successes and I remember quite a few failures. I was a kid, but I was all over it.

My cousin Larry was there with me, as a kid. We saw what was going on. We grew up, started partying together. One day when he was living far from me, he met a girl with a computer. He began playing around.

Every conspiracy in the world filled his mind. I don't know why. We argued. He accused me of being one of THEM. He denied the holocaust, the moon, and parts of 9/11.

He hanged himself July 2, 2010. The day after he paid his rent.

Take nothing at face value. Investigate and form your opinions. I will defend you're right to have it. But let's not allow something somebody somewhere said wrote or heard scare the lives out of us.

"You have heard ...

Do you know how stupid that sounds? Why don't you do some research rather than pay any attention to idle gossip when considering something so historically important.

Even if you knew just a little about the 15 years of the space program that ended with the Apollo missions you would not bore us to tears with this endless nonsense from very ignorant, uninformed people. Most of the men who went, or trained, or ran mission control, had come through years of space flights before Apollo with the Mercury program and the Gemini missions. So when do you and your buddies think the faking started?

Do you realise how insulting this is to all the people who worked on Apollo (400,000 of them), and especially to men who not only risked their lives to do this momentous feat, but risked their lives in years of training and previous missions, and before that many of them were test pilots who risked their lives daily.

Now tell us what momentous things you and your stupid mates do.

You mention several times "what you heard". Where did you hear this crap, I would bet either a conspiracy wacko website or Youtube video, NOT from a credible source who has any idea what they are talking about?

Of course the landings were real, all six of them!

The "we never landed on the moon" wackos are the ones perpetuating the biggest hoax ever, based on the complete ignorance of the facts by conspiracy theory wackos, out to prove just how totally ignorant they really are.

I do not believe we landed on the moon, I KNOW we did. Moon landing hoax wackos merely regurgitate the same old tired lies, most of them originally put forward by the profoundly ignorant Bill Kaysing in a book and a horrible TV program on Fox TV in 2001. NONE of his crazy claims stands up to serious scrutiny. NONE! The fact that all of the Apollo landing sites have since been imaged by various satellites from lunar orbit is hard to explain away! I am including links to a number of sites with the truth about these claims.

The moon landing hoax believers are just plain delusional and beyond all human help. As I have also said, I find it amusing, in a kind of sad way, that the same people who think that the most thoroughly documented voyage of exploration in history was a hoax are willing to believe any wacko conspiracy theory or doomsday prophecy. No critical reasoning skills people?

In addition to the sites already mentioned, which have actual FACTS to refute the myths and lies put forward by the lunar landing deniers, some of us actually have personal observations to prove that the missions DID occur. I was a member of an amateur radio/amateur astronomy group at the time the Apollo missions were flown, and among other things we distributed tracking information that allowed many of us to point our telescopes at the spacecraft on the way to the moon. Can any of the wackos explain to me what I was seeing at the expected coordinates, if it was NOT the Apollo spacecraft on the way to the moon???? Many others at sites around the world observed and some imaged the spacecraft in transit to the moon. Also, I have friends, other ham radio operators who were able to receive the audio and video directly from the lunar surface. I have seen their videos, kind of noisy since these friends were using much smaller dish antennas than NASA did, but they were clearly recognizable and their antennas were aimed directly at the moon. Explain that, moon hoax wackos!

A couple of quotes I like, the first from Carl Sagan:

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

From Daniel Patrick Moynihan, it SO applies to the moon hoax wackos:

You are entitled to your own opinion, but you are NOT entitled to your own facts.

Some of my qualifications to make these statements follow, what are yours?

My dad was an engineer on the Apollo program.

I am also an engineer, and spent over 20 years in aerospace.

Personal observations of the Apollo spacecraft on the way to the moon.

Common sense.

This question has been asked here thousands of times, but the answer is always the same: Yes, 12 astronauts really walked on the Moon on 6 separate voyages. It's a fact of history. Not only have we lost the ability to send humans to the Moon, but many people who weren't around when it happened have begun to doubt it ever happened. Sad, really.

We have gone back to the moon in the form of robotic probes, and taken pictures of the Apollo landing sites from orbit, showing the equipment that was left behind.

Yeah, it happened, but people like to say it's fake because they are bored, and want something to argue about for entertainment.

They went. There's no new footage because no one's been back since 1972. They haven't been back because the U.S. citizenry lost interest, and found other things to spend money on.

Fake, we can only go to 250 mile Low Earth Orbit, and do 7th grade "science" experiments. But if you are a millionaire, just around the corner, you can go to 250 mile Low Earth Orbit, as a "space" tourist. The proof is low res pictures of unmanned probes tracks and debris. Humans can not survive the extreme temperatures, blood would freeze or boil, in and beyond the 400 to 800 mile exosphere. But trekkies gotta dream, and scientists need the job security.
