Voyager 1 is the farthest at 120.522 AU distance. It is well beyond the orbit of anything that we call a planet in our solar system, but we will never see it leave the solar system proper as the Oort Cloud extends to nearly a light year from our sun. It will be approximately 14,490 years before it exits the solar system.

The link below shows a graphical representation of spacecrafts headed away from our solar system.

Pioneer 10 Launched in 1972 is over 8 million miles from earth. However,we lost the signal for it in 2003.

Voyager 1 was launched in 1977 and overtook Pioneer 10 in 1998 and is now about 10 million miles away.

The farthest man has been is the moon.

The farthest man-made object in space is probably the Voyager 1, which is almost at the brink of the Solar System.

But then, many kinds of human generated waves (beacons?) escape into outer space and might have gone much much farther than anything else.

Voyager 1.

Has entered the heliopause, where the solar wind is hitting the interstellar matter.

It is still within the gravitational domain of the Sun (in fact, it is still in the inner portion of the Oort cloud).

But it is going fast enough that it will never fall back towards the Solar system. It will continue outwards forever.

It is almost 17 "light-hours" from the Sun

(one light-year = 8,766 light-hours, roughly)

Man has been to the Moon (less than 2 "light-seconds" from Earth).

"Voyager 1" launched in 1977 is the man-made object that is farthest from Earth. It is currently 18 billion kilometers from the sun. It's companion craft, "Voyager 2", is currently almost 15 billion kilometers from the sun.

My guess would be couple of space craft have left our Solar System and are headed further into space.

A couple of probes have left our Solar System (not Universe) and are headed into deep space.
